Michele!

Here's a song about a girl that I once met.
A few years later but I still can't forget.
We were kids back in High school.
She was oh so pretty but I wasn't that cool.
She was an angel in blue dreams
Walking down the halls, my high school queen.
It was back in grade 12 at the High School Dance
Laughin and a playin then she held my hand
Pulled her real close and we danced real sslow
Then I kissed her at the end of that song
Sometimes I close my eyes oh well and I'm back in her arms, I'm with Michele!
Oh well let me tell ya about Michele
How she danced with me and how I fell
I was hynotized, under her spell
I know that I'll never forget Michele!
After Graduation She moved away
But I still thought about her nearly every day.
Finally another girl caught my eye
I settled down and made that girl my wife
But I pull down my year books now and then and I'm dancin' with Michele again!

2-10

She had brown hair and her eyes were blue
Kissable lips and a full figure too!
We took to dancin and I held her tight,
She took me home later on that night.
It's sunday mornin and I wake up in her bed.
Whiskey and a music are a poundin in my head
I look at her "What in the hell did I do?
She was ten last night, now she's a two!"
She went from 2-10, from 10 - 2
too much whiskey, one two mant bre
tight fittin jeans and the devil in her eye
She was a ten, when we went for a ride.
10 months later and my telelphone rings
her tongues a waggin, but I don't hear a thing
She says "Honey baby what you gonna do? I have a son and he looks like you!"
She went from.....

Drivin'
03:57
|

I’m a drivin down the highway but I got no
place to go
And these wheels are rollin down a long and lonesome road.
Don’t know where I’m headed, but I do know where I’ve been
And I gotta keep on goin’ ‘til I find my self again
Well my gears startin slippin on the 401 of life
My heart took a right and left me outta sight
The wipers are slappin out a rhythm that numbs my mind
And the roads getting longer as my tranny starts to whine
Baby Baby baby, pretty baby doll
The way were livin was no livin at all
You broke my heart and, packed my bags
You sent me on my way
But I aint got a road map now I’ve lost my way
When the goin’ gets tough don’t take your eyes off the line
I guess the tough keep goin and they leave the past behind
If you ask me where I’m headed,
Here’s just what I’ll say
“I really don’t know, but I know I’m on my way”

Sinner
04:38
|
|||
Well, I met a little girl down in Tennessee,
Bout the prettiest little girl that I ever did see
Hair of gold and eyes so blue
man those eyes could flash at you!
She winked at me and I took my cue
We sat down had a laugh or too
The night was over and she went home
I started thinkin when she's gone
Man that girl could make a sinner out of me!
I'm singin in a club in Montreal
pretty little thing lookin cute and all
She had brown hair and a perfect smile.
"This gig is good, I'll stay for awhile"
We sat down and started to talk
She said "Hon you wanna go for a walk"
I thought to my self that I gotta be true.
Then she flicked her hips what could I do?
That girl done made a sinner out of me
She was so fine, she was good
She got me thinkin "If only I could"
Forbidden fruit should be left on the vine
The worm in my pocket, I just keep on hidin it!
It's Sunday morning and I'm feelin bad
I got to Church to talk to The Man
Preacher turns and points at me
"Listen here son you gotta only believe!
It's been this way since time began. Ever since God made woman and man. She got the fruit, and he got the need. Guess what Adam said to Eve?
Girl you gone and made a sinner out of Me!"
She was so fine....
