Mike is a 60 year old entertainer who resides in Fredericton NB. At the age of 40 He started his new life in entertainment as a “professional Elvis Tribute Artist” Prior to that Mike was a full-time clergyman. In that time he has been performing as “Elvis” as well as himself all over the Maritime Provinces, he has released 3 CD’s and is ready to launch his 4th entitled “Chapters - Adventures In Life” in the spring of 2019.
This latest single “Romance Slowed Me Down” is an original uptempo “Rocka-billy” tune that features his 2 sons, Aaron Bravener on drums and Joshua Bravener on piano, Jamie Guitar on Bass, Shane Guitar playing lead and Juanita Bourque on Backing Vocals. Recorded at The Recordery in Fredericton this song was written while Mike worked at Indigo/Chapters in Fredericton. One morning Mike’s manager was asking “How are you all making out putting away your cart of books?” One of the CER’s ( Customer Experience Representatives ) replied “I was moving right along but romance slowed me down” Mike took out his pad of paper and wrote those words down. The rest of the song came six months later when Mike was putting away a cart of romance novels and saw the titles of those books and the song was fully composed the next day!
