This is a Fred Rose tune, that I heard on that same Hank Sr. collection. BUT it was introduced to me by a sweet older lady who's husband had passed away from Alzheimer's. I was singing at a fund raising event and I was asked by her if I had ever heard this song? She told me how her and her husband would dance beneath the trees in Odell Park and she would sing him this song. She sang it to me and I cried.
